Antique Cast Iron “Independence Hall Tower” Centennial mechanical bank, made to commemorate the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition, with lever to one side that rings bell. Around the base of the bank reads The Centennial Bank 1776-1876. Proclaim Liberty Throughout the Land. Independence Hall Tower. To all the inhabitants there of built 1729. Retains the original red polychrome paint. This bank measures 4″ x 4″ and 9 1/2″ Height. The underside reads Made by Enterprise Mfg. Co. Phila. Pat Sept.21. 75.
