Impressive Antique Quarter sawn Oak Carved Bench has a beautiful crest with outstanding pierced carved griffons. This wonderful Oak bench has the original finish and is in very good condtion. The arms and back are highly carved, seat is hinged and provides storage supported on carved claw feet. There is a furniture label on the back side that reads: Paine Furniture Boston Mass. Measures 50 1/2″ wide, 21′ depth and 48″ Height. Circa 1900.
