Circa 1890s Horner oak double door bookcase with caryatid figural columns. Top bordered with dentil molding above high-relief scrollwork and leaves on a textured background, with central carved woman’s face. Egg-and-dart carving frame original glass doors with functioning lock and key. Interior includes four adjustable quartersawn oak shelves. Exterior figural columns taper into details of lions and scrolls and terminate in squashed face feet. Measures 67″ height, 64″ width and 18 ” depth. Circa 1900.
