Antique Quarter Sawn Oak Barrister Bookcase is in very good original finish. This bookcase is exceptionally well made with raised beveled panels on each side. The sectionals are made with a beautiful design that steps back for 3 of the 4 units. There are labels that reads: The Casler Extension Bookcase Manufactured by P. W. Caslor Company Little Falls, New York U.S.A.. This bookcase measures 36″ wide by 14 1/4″ deep and stands 58″ high. The top two sectionals on the inside measure 8 1/2″ deep, and are 9″ high, The third from the top section is 9″ deep and 10″ high, while the bottom section is 9″ deep and 11 1/2″ high all on the interior measurements. This bookcase is exceptionally well made in the construction notice how the back panels are solid 3/4″ oak boards held together with screws. Circa 1900.
