Antique Country Store Sewing Hook Wood Display Case Cabinet – The Boye Needle Company – Chicago

Wooden and glass country store display cabinet that was made to store and display Boye Crochet Hooks. The front of the wooden cabinet has an original decal that advertises, ‘Boye Needle Company, Chicago. Pat’d Jan 14, 1919 – Dec 16, 1919. There is also wordage that reads, ‘Better than the best Hook you Ever Used’. The display cabinet still holds several crochet hooks. This cabinet measures 7 1/2 width, 7 3/4″ height and 5 1/4″ Depth. Notice the dovetailed corners on this display cabinet and how the display is hinged to drop the glass front forward and allow access to the crochet hooks.
