Antique Cranberry Mary Gregory Brides Basket with Elk Figural Base

This is an exceptional original Mary Gregory art glass cranberry basket that is decorated in detail with children playing in nature scene. Notice the boy that has a fish on the end of his line! The opposite side of the basket is decorated with a floral theme and there is gold highlights across the top cut out rim of this piece. The basket measures 8 3/4″ diameter and when placed on the silver plated stand together they are 10 1/4″ high. The stand is signed by its maker, ‘Middletown Plate Co. – Quadruple Plate – Hard White Metal – #713’. Notice the full figured Elk in a jumping pose that is featured on the base of this beautiful brides basket. There is detailed engraved designs that encircle the base and bottom where the basket rests.
