Antique Victorian Mt Washington Bowl and Meriden Silver Frame. This beautiful bowl is pictured on Page 190 in the book American Art Glass by John A. Shuman. This is an exceptional brides basket with cased pink interior and yellow exterior with layered enameled floral design. The floral enameled design has depth of colors which make the designs come to life. Also, note the top crimped design of this basket with the clear 1/8″ high top edge. On the underneath bottom of this basket there is the number,’P555′. This bowl measures 10 1/4″ diameter across at the widest point and from handle to opposite handle is 14 3/4″ wide. The set together is right at 8″ high to the top of the basket. Marked ‘Meriden B. Company’ and the number 241. This is an exceptional piece of Art glass that you will not want to miss adding to your personal collection as it is sure to be a featured item in any collection.
