What a unique find is this old antique country store display complete with two blue Bromo Seltzer glass cup and bottle. Notice that the top of the stand has a sign which will open and close the ladies eyes when you move and look at the sign. It reads, ‘Bromo Seltzer for Upset Stomach – Headache – Take Home a Bottle Today and the words will also change on the sign to read ‘For Fast Relief!’. Notice that on the underneath side of the porcelain base in raised lettering it reads, ‘Property of Emerson Drug Co. – Baltimore, Maryland’. All together this stand with blue glass measures 22 3/4″ high and the sign is 8″ by 5 1/2″ while the porcelain base is 6″ x 4 1/2″. This is a great old country store advertising display that would make a great addition to one’s collection and what fun to keep viewing the advertising sign with its changing words and facial expressions.
