Brown Crock Stoneware Bowl with Advertising Altona, Nebraska

Excellent all original example of a brown highly glazed crock stoneware bowl that has a unique ribbed molded design that encircles the entire bowl and then on the gray colored interior of the bowl wrote in blue lettering there is the advertising that reads: ‘It Pays to Mix with Fred Hilpert General Merchandise. Altona, Nebraska’. Altona is a small town located in Northeastern Nebraska. The bowl measures 7 1/4″ diameter and the sides are 4 3/4″ high.
