Antique salt glaze stoneware crock number 2 butter churn that is marked by its maker, ‘Haxstun, Ottman, & Co., – Fort Edward, NY’. Notice the brown slip lid with oak dasher. We have with this churn an antique article that helps one to learn more about the history of the Haxston, Ottman, & Company business. Circa 1867 to early 1870’s. I am sure this has been repaired in the past. Measures 25″ to top of dasher. Churn is 13 1/2″ height and 8″ diameter.
