This is a unique and early primitive wooden butter mold that features a double impression of two shocks of wheat done in a rectangular shape. This piece measures at the widest point 6 1/4″ x 4″ wide and to the top of the wooden handle is 5 1/4″ high. Note the unique joints that secure this wooden framed butter mold. This mold came out of a collection of butter molds in Missouri.
