This is a wonderful all original example of the country store display cabinet with divided sliding front doors which proves to be an apothecary medicine cabinet for helping to dispense remedies for common ailments. Notice how the front doors help one to know which of the remedies one should purchase depending on your ailment, from teething to Disorders of the Heart, there is approximately 40 ailments that can be treated with Humphrey’s Remedies. This cabinet measures 22 1/2″ long by 6″ deep and stands 28 1/2″ high. The original gold stenciling and advertising on this cabinet are still in very good original condition. Notice the divided doors that give access to the numbered sections where one could access the remedy needed for one’s ailment.
