This ship is named “Oregon”, Pat APLD FOR. This bank is in the book The Penny Bank Book by Andy & Susan Moore pg. 130 #1450. This battleship Oregon helped bottle up Spanish Cervera during the Spanish- American War in Santiago Harbor, Cuba, 1898. The bank was made shortly afterwards. Made by J. & E. Stevens US, Circa 1891-1906. Oregon Ship Bank. Measures: 4″ tall x 5 7/8″ long x 1 1/2″ wide.
