Country Farm Scene Antique Large Pastel Drawing Painting

This is a beautiful chalk drawing that depicts a country farm scene down in brown tones. Appears to be a sunset scene or perhaps a storm approaching on the left hand side of the drawing. Overall measurements are 29 1/2″x 39 1/2″. The frame and drawing are all original, no altercations. The frame does have some paint flaking off of it, it appears. This piece is artist signed A. F. Glatthaar, he was a very prolific artist during the heyday of pastels from 1880 – 1930’s. This painting most probably done 1910-1915 time frame. We have taken a close-up to show you. This is a great piece of art, the more you look at it the more to life it becomes.
