Large Art Deco Executive Desk – Lincoln Desks “For the Work of the World” . 

Very attractive double pedestal walnut desk is quite serviceable as sturdy office furniture or may be used as a decorative period piece. Original handles – Middle drawer includes pen/pencil tray. One of the small drawers has a quarter sized stamp of Abraham Lincoln andt reads: Lincoln Desks “For the Work of the World”. the desk was manufactured by the Lincoln Desk company of Chicago, Illinois.  The drawers are all dovetail joints. The desk appears to have been manufactured in the 1930 -1940’s. This large desk measures 64″ wide 36″ depth and 31″ height.  (We have used this desk for the last 30 years. and has worked quite well).
