Fancy Antique Oak Photographer’s Studio Chair

This is a decorative and elaborate tall back oak chair which was used in a photographers studio for taking portraits. Note the detailed claw feet, the elaborate fitted seat done in a shell design and the detailed applied carvings on the peak of this chair which is still in excellent all original condition. The chair measures 53 1/2″ high is 21″ wide and 20″ deep at the widest points and the seat is 18 1/2″ wide and 17 1/2″ deep. Circa 1900’s.
