This is a unique and quality made oak file storage cabinet box that is marked by its maker. ‘Ever Ready Trade Mark File – Patented April 15, 1905 – Manufactured by the Ever Ready Mfg. Co. – Cincinnati, Ohio, USA’. Notice that this file is hinged on either side so you have access to all the contents. The file has a brass liner on either side of the interior while the bottom and top are lined with leather. There is quality throughout on this file, notice the easy grip wooden divider that allows one to mark where you are working in the file box, along with another fitted sliding divider that keeps the cards in the box all tight and secure. This box measures 15″ long is 7 1/2″ wide by 5″ high. Notice the detailed dove tail corners, the felt lined edges where the two top sections connect, along with the original brass hardware that makes this file box and amazing piece of quality furniture.
