Antique Hanging Lamp Shade – Light Fixture – Handel

A Handel glass hanging lamp globe and fixture. Beautiful Painted scene of stylized exotic birds and flowers fully decorate this mushroom shaped shade on all sides. Obverse-painted iridized glass shade, single socket. Circa 1910. Measures 27 1/2″ length, the shade is 12″ Diameter, the diameter of ceiling mount 5 1/2″. The bronzed metal fittings have a nice original patina and stamped Handel on the inside of the ceiling mount. Came from Scott Thomas collection of Shumway, Illinois.
