This is a unique all original old advertising Ford car accessory called, ‘Henry’s Chest Protector’ There is detailed information on the back side of this advertising cover which reads, ‘Stops that Coughing and Wheezing – Use with or without radiator cover or alcohol. Prevents cold air from drawing in beneath motor, preventing oil from chilling the crank case making better lubrication protects front cylinder, pet cock and vital parts. Insures steady running. Patented April 7, 1925 Patent number 1,532,404.’ Also states, ‘Protects where it needs protection – keeps the Ford running in cold weather. When you have used it all winter and Spring comes wrap some paper around protector, tie a cord around it, clip in under the seat and you will have it handy for next winter. Manufactured and sold by C.E. Erickson Co., Inc. Des Moines, Iowa’. ‘Slips on easily – Lugs over band hold it securely’. Notice that on the front of this radiator cover there is advertising for, ‘J.C. Arnold & Son Service Station – Standard Products – Miller, Nebr.’. There is clips on the front of the cover. This piece measures 18 1/2″ wide and is 9 3/4″ high. –
