Antique Cast Iron Coachman Boy or Jockey Type Hitching Post – Nice Paint – 195 lbs

Antique Cast iron coachman figural boy hitching post that some might refer to as a jockey boy. Painted with red and white with some black apparel. Note the detailed solid construction on the base of this hitching post. Good condition, with good details, This hitching post measures 48 1/4″ in height and the base is 16″ wide by 16″ deep. The height of the base is 7″ high. Weighs 195 lbs. This piece originally year ago came from an auction in Glasgow, Kentucky, for a doctor named Dr. Queldon’s sale. This would have been several years ago. We currently have a second jockey coachman hitching post that would make a nice match with this hitching post! Take a look for yourself.
