Antique Howdy Doody Wood Segmented Toy

1940’S Howdy Doody Composition head and wood jointed body that is all original and excellent condition. There is still the original decal on the body of Howdy Doody that reads, ‘HOWDY DOODY – BOB SMITH’. Howdy Doody was designed by Joseph Kallus and made by Ideal Toy and Novelty Company. This toy has excellent painted features, notice the freckles, and is all complete with original leather belt and bandanna around his neck. In the bottom of the shoes the metal pins have the embossed word, ‘Cameo’. Howdy Doody measures 12” tall and with arms outstretched is 11” wide. Again, exceptional all Original condition, what a remarkable find!
