Hubley yellow cast iron toy truck referred to as the 5 Ton Truck. The tailgate will raise and lower for endless play. Notice that the floor of the truck’s box is a steel floor. This truck measures 6″ high to the top of the driver and is 5 3/4″ wide and 16 1/2″ long. This toy is featured in the toy reference book, ‘Cast Iron Automotive Toys’ on page 148, written by Myra Yellin Outwater & Eric B. Outwater along with Stevie & Bill Weart. This is a rare and hard to find cast iron antique truck, the largest Hubley truck. Annette purchased this from Rodney and Dorthy Haugh’s collection years ago.
