Junior Fire Chief Fire Dept Pedal Car 1948-53

This pedal car is in good original condition. The decal on the side says Junior Chief Fire Dept. The wheels are all in good condition and still have the chrome hub caps. The tire is stamped Firestone with there logo. We need the bell but the holder bracket is there. This car measures 38″ length, 19″ width and 21″ height to the top of the steering wheel. This car was made by BMC Bike & Motor Club and can be found in the Peddle Car Book Volume 5 page 281. Made from 1948-1953. The Binghampton Manufacturing corporation operated in Binghampton, New York. In 1947 the shop decided to Manufacturer something a little more exciting, Toy Wheel Goods. Thus the Binghampton Manufacturing Corporation also known as BMC and Bike & Motor Club. In 1954 BMC, was sold to the company AMF.
