Excellent old wooden bucket with metal bands and wire bail handle that would have dispensed kerosene oil as this is stenciled onto the front of the bucket. There is also original stenciling on the top and one can still read that this bucket held 2 gallons with the Ptd. Date of June 15,1886. The bottom is wider with a diameter of 11 1/4″ and the top is 9 1/2″. The bucket is 9 1/4″ high and when the handle is in the upright position it measures 16″ high. Excellent old paint and original condition.
