Composition Kewpie Doll Original Paper Label on Feet – 1913

Cute, ever popular Kewpie doll by Rose O’Neill with its original paper label on the bottom of the molded feet that reads, ‘Kewpie – Reg. U.S. Patent Off. Des. Pat. III 4-1913- Rose O’Neill 1913’. This little doll measures 8 ½” high, Wonderful side glancing eyes, pursed closed mouth, molded painted top knot hair and one side wisp on each side of head, jointed at the shoulders, legs are molded together. This doll has blue wing tips on the back, shoulder height, Cute appropriate dress with embroidered design, this tiered dress is showing some decaying. What a cute doll!
