Quarter Sawn Oak Machinist Tool Box with Tools and Locking Key

This is a very complete machinist tool box as it still has so many of the machinist’s tools inside. One really feels as if you are getting to know the person who used this box for his job. Notice the motto on the top drawer that reads, ‘It isn’t so much how long you work, but what you do while you are working’. This box is complete with the locking key. The box measures 20″ long, 13″ high and is 8″ deep. There is a card that is interesting. I assume it was the owner of this box. The card reads: Victor U. Fontanella and was Discharged from work – for working to slow. of General Motors Corporation.  Dated 5-18-36.
