Solid Mahogany Roll top Desk is in very nice original finish. The desk has a nice interior full of drawers that can be covered by the S shaped roll. the desk is decorated with beveled panels. There is a name plate that reads, ” The Rand Leopold Desk Co. of Burlington, Iowa. Circa 1900. This desk is 60″ wide, 34″ depth and 52″ height.
This Desk was owned by a Mr. Charles Ward who was a fire chief in West Chicago. He owned a lumber yard in Chicago and then moved to Sioux Falls where he started another lumber yard – Ward Lumber Co.
