American, late 19th century. A J. & E. Stevens cast iron mechanical bank of a man in green and red cabin, marked PAT’D JUNE 1885 on underside. Place coin on top front of roof, pull lever on right, and figure flips up to knock coin into the slot. Measures 3-1/2″ H, 3″ W, 4-1/4″ D.
