Black Forest Carved Wood Figural Bear Nut Cracker – Chillon Switzerland

Black Forest carved wooden nut cracker done in the figural head of a bear where the mouth opens to crack the nuts. Glass eyes. Notice that this piece is signed, ‘Chillon’. Chillon, Switzerland and we were told the circa would date to the 1890’s. This piece measures 8″ long and is 3″ deep across the bear’s head.
