This is a very unusual cabinet made for the medical profession. I have heard this referred to as a Doctors Cabinet or a Physician Apothecary Cabinet. Made of solid oak. This two piece cabinet is well designed. The two glass doors on the top have display shelves that are adjustable. They will fold open and display several more hidden shelves. The base has a compartment that will swing open with several shelf display. With plenty of drawer space.
The furniture decal reads: Chicago U.S.A. Frank S. Betz Co. Hammond, Ind. Measures 30″ wide, 15″ depth and 68″ Height. Circa 1900.
