Beautiful Antique quarter sawn Oak Side by Side Secretary – Original finish. The curved glass door provides great display with adjustable wood shelves. There is a beveled mirror with carved griffins (lions head and claw feet) on each side. A fine turned spindle holding shaped shelf that is supported over a small drawer above the drop front desk. Note the gorgeous carving on the desk front and the face of the top drawer. All three drawers have matching cast brass handles. Secretary supported on carved claw feet. There is a furniture label on the back that reads: Rockford Chair & Furniture Rockford, Illinois. Measures 44″ wide, 15″ depth and 74 1/2″ Height. This is one of the better secretary cabinets that we have owned. Circa 1900.
