Pairpoint Art Glass Double Pickle Castor with Dog Finials

This is a beautiful marked, ‘Pairpoint’ Victorian art glass double pickle castor which features two full figured begging dogs on the top of the silver-plated lids of each pickle castor. This set is complete with the silver-plated holder, pickle tongs, two etched glass inserts, and silver plated lids. The stand is marked on the bottom, ‘Pairpoint Mfg. Co. – Quadruple Plate – 6045’. The stand measures 12 1/2″ high and is 8 1/2″ wide by 4″ deep. The etched clear glass inserts measure 4 1/2″ high and with the lids are 6 1/2″ high to the top of the dog’s head. This is a beautiful art glass pickle castor, one that will make a beautiful addition to your Victorian pickle castor collection.
