Pairpoint Victorian Double Cranberry Insert Pickle Castor

This is a remarkable and beautiful find! An all original and complete Victorian cranberry double insert pickle castor made by ‘Pairpoint Mfg. Co. – #651 – Quadruple Plate’. The holder has a combination of raised circles, scrolling garland, and cut out flower designs, revealing the high end quality that Pairpoint is known for. The inverted thumbprint texture of the match pair of cranberry inserts makes for a wonderful surface for the evenly spaced and colorful enameled floral designs. The inserts are topped with identical silver plated lids. This set is complete with the pickle fork and makes an amazing and beautiful statement. The fork is marked, ‘Oxford Silver Plate Co.’. The holder measures 13″ high is 9 1/4″ wide by 4 3/4″ deep. This is a rare find and a beautiful piece that you will not want to miss adding to your own personal Victorian art glass collection.
