All original cast iron steam shovel toy truck that is identified as being a ‘Panama’ truck. This Hubley made toy dates to the 1931 to 1939 time period. The green and red color combination was done during the later years of the 1930’s, and the early 30 versions had nickle plated cast iron wheels. This toy measures 7 1/2″ high is 13″ long and 5 1/4″ wide. Notice how the steam engine back can spin all around the back portion of the truck.
