Antique tin advertising bucket pail that once stored Shedd’s Peanut Butter. Shedd-Bartush Foods, Inc, out of Detroit, Michigan was the maker of Shedd’s Peanut butter and this was the five pound pail. This bucket measures 6″ diameter on the lid, and the bottom is 5 1/4″ diameter. The height of the bucket is 6 1/4″ high. The metal pail has an embossed letter ‘H’ on the underside of this pail. Bright colors with just the two tone color choices of red and yellow. Don’t miss adding this advertising pail to your own antique advertising collection or if you collect antique lunch boxes, many times these tins were used as a child’s lunch pail when they were emptied. Circa 1940’s.
