Rare Antique Nippon 18 Inch High Vase Decorated with Gold Roses

Exceptional tall piece of Nippon! This 18″ high Nippon signed vase is decorated with several different techniques. There is hand painted flowers in the front of the vase with berries of fruit on the branches and this feature is then encircled throughout the rest of the vase with heavy gold leaf roses molded in relief on the exterior décor. The contrast of these two decorating techniques on this vase make for a beautiful piece of artwork. The bottom of the vase is signed, ‘Hand Painted – Nippon’. At the widest point this vase measures approximately 6 1/4″ diameter while the top opening is 3″ diameter, and the base is 4 1/4 diameter.
