Antique Country Store – The Computing Scale Company Candy Scale

This is a working antique country store candy scale that was made by the Computing Scale Company and it has the capacity to weigh 2 pounds. This model is identified as being the ‘Style No 166’. The scale is complete with the brass scoop. Notice the patent dates with the most recent one being March 27, 1906. The scale measures 14 1/2″ high while the base is 13″ wide by 4″ deep. The brass scoop is 10 1/2″ long and 7 1/4″ wide. What a fun piece to add to your country store antique collection!
