Antique Merrick’s Six drawer Spool Cabinet

Nice original cherry Merrick’s spool cabinet or thread cabinet. This has four long drawers over two smaller drawers. That read: Merrick’s, Spool Cabinet, Standard, Six Cord, Shuttle and Cotton.  Note that the fronts of the drawers alternate between woods of cherry and bird’s eye maple. Both sides have the Merrick ‘Flying Eagle’. Interior drawers are in good condition and also clean. Spool cabinets make wonderful end tables or nightstands—this one would also work well as a coffee table. Overall size is 30″ wide, 18″ deep and 18 high.
