This set is one of the best we have ever owned and we have not seen one quite as good either.
The “style” of the ornate metal-work (copper with bronze-tone patina) reflects Continental origin but actual maker is of question. Set is dated late 1800’s by my estimation….(1880-1890)
The Amberina is very rich with both the cranberry and amber colors pronounced. The ornate bronze-tone metal only intensifies the “richness” of the glass. The metal “feet” for both the glasses and the tankard are a plus to the items. The “full figure” adoring the top of the tankard handle is exquisite and a great enhancement (handle been professional repaired). The tankard is 16 1/4” high, and the four glasses are 6” tall.
