1/2 L German Stein – Artist Ernst Bohne Sohne – Indian Chief Character

All original and complete German Stein made by Ernst Bohne Söhne, who was a major manufacturer of porcelain character steins during the early years of the turn of the century. This stein is a featured one in ‘Kirsner’s Beer Stein Book’ and is the ‘Indian Chief’. Circa would be 1900’s. This stein measures 7 1/2″ high is 5 3/4″ deep approximately and the diameter of the interior is 3″ diameter. Notice the impressed ‘5228’ number on the bottom of the stein. Deeply impressed facial details and painted features makes this a German stein that you will not want to miss adding to your own personal stein collection.
