Strauss Mechanical Jenny Balking Mule Toy with Box

Late 1920s made by “Ferdinand Strauss Corporation USA.” 9″ long, 5 3/4″ tall overall tin litho with built-in key with clown trade mark on back of cart and litho name on mule. Nicely designed cart with load of vegetables and fruit and bearded farmer holding string reins attached to mule who doesn’t want to participate. When key is wound on underside, wheels move, mule balks and farmer rocks back and forth. Exceptional all original condition and complete with the original storage box that it came with. Working. Bright color with fun action.
