This is a wonderful old tin made to look like a steamer trunk from the 1890-1910 period. The tin measures 13″ x 7″ high x 9″ deep. It is from the Restorff and Bettmann company in New York, and was to carry and sell their shoe dressings and oils. The inside of the lid has a fabulous full size ad with graphics for the shoe dressings, showing the old high top ladies shoes. The exterior of the tin is designed to look like a trunk, with handles, straps, lock, etc, –
