Tin Toy TV and Radio Set – in the box – Marx Toys – Great Graphics

Toy is designed like a TV/radio station console, w/lithography depicting a variety of knobs, dials and gauges. Separate parts include microphone holder, two microphones, two antennas, which were put in place for catalog photo. Additional console features include – attached plug that could be inserted into various “Meter Plug-In” ports, flicker “Wavelength Screen,” turning dials, “Signal Strength Indicator” needle and Morse code device. Battery box is clean.
Complete with its original box!  Requires a D cell battery to power the buzzer and red light. TV channel selector reveals various television shows, and the center piece shows the “kilocycles” per second. What a fun piece this is and to have the original box with advertising is a great find! The storage box that secures this piece measures 29″ long is 10 1/2″ wide by 8 1/2″ high.
