Antique Arcade Ford Anthony Company Dump Truck – Anthony Company Inc. – Streator, Ill.

Antique cast iron original Arcade Ford dump truck that is marked on the tailgate in raised lettering, ‘Anthony Company Inc. – Streator, Ill.’ Circa 1925 to 1927. Notice that this toy is also marked with raised lettering on the underneath, ‘Arcade Mfg. Co. – Freeport, Ill’. This dump truck measures 8″ long is 2 3/4″ high and 2 3/4″ wide. This toy is also a toy featured in the antique toy reference book, ‘Cast Iron Automotive Toys’ by Myra Yellin Outwater & Eric B. Outwater and Stevie & Bill Weart, on page 58, #204. The wordage in the reference book states that this toy didn’t come with a driver and had a spring operated dump bed with ‘Anthony Company, Streator, Ill’ on the tail gate.
