Victorian Folded Ladies Hand Held Fan in Leather Case dated 1873

This is an all original Victorian ladies fan that is dated patent April 1, 1873. Note that the fan is secured in a leather and brass case with brass chain. The brass top on this is the bottom of the hand held fan when you pull it out from the storage pouch. The folded fan is decorated with a floral design in the middle and on either end there is a leather strip which secures the paper fan. The storage pouch measures 7 1/2″ long and is 1 7/8″ wide at the widest point. This is a rare woman’s accessory item that we are thrilled to offer for sale.
