This is a Victorian photo album that features a touching scene of what appears to be a mother playing her violin while daughters become fully engaged in the melody. This velour and celluloid photo album comes with a fancy brass ormolu locking latch and inside there is still several old Victorian photos, on the backside of one photo it reads, a farm near Jamestown, North Dakota. Also, another photo was taken by a studio in Newman, Illinois. There is a family photo with a husband, wife and baby and the names are, ‘Robert Crockett Catron December 16, 1857 – September 26, 1938, Robert Glenn Catron – April 14, 1889, to June 20, 1923, and then Carrie Saffle Catron – November 10, 1866, to June 20, 1936. This photo album measures 10 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ deep and is 3″ high at the highest point.
