Matching pair of Roseville pottery wall pockets that have been done in the Freesia pattern which was introduced in about 1945. Notice the patches of wavy impressed lines that form the background for the floral stems that are loaded with embossed freesia blossoms. The contrasting varied shades of brown on the base of the wall pockets makes for an excellent coloring against the green and ivory colors of the flowers. Each wall pocket measures 8 1/4″ high, is 6 1/4″ wide across the handles and is approximately 2 3/4″ deep across the top opening. The backsides have embossed letters that read: ‘Roseville – U.S.A. – 1296-8″. What fun to have a pair of these to decorate your wall or home with.
