This is a highly detailed Victorian walnut wall pocket with plaque that depicts a music lyre design on the front of the piece that is in front of this drop down hinged storage compartment that has open sides. Perhaps one could store sheet music in this holder. This piece is decorated with gold gilding and black ebonized highlights along with the fancy applied music themed lyre décor. This piece measures 26″ high is 15 1/4″ wide and when the compartment is at its widest is 7″ deep at the top. If you enjoy music this piece would me a wonderful music room décor.
