Antique Victorian Wicker Chair – Heywood Wakefield

Antique Victorian Wicker Chair – Heywood Wakefield – This is an ornate antique Victorian wicker chair in very good condition. The chair has elaborate wicker work throughout including curlicues, beads, fancy reedwork and delicate fancy twist-wrapped balls and finials.  Cane seat with wrapped cabriole legs are flanked by curlicues ending in brass supported caps.  There is a paper label on the underside that reads: Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Company Chicago, Illinois U.S.A. Measures  41″ height seat 16″ diameter.  Circa 1900.
