Excellent all original example of Newcomb college pottery. This vase is signed by it’s artist, ‘Anna Frances Simpson’, and the potter’s signature, ‘Joseph Meyer’. Joseph was with Newcomb from 1896 until 1927. The vase measures 3 1/2″ high and at the widest point has a diameter of 3 3/4″. The opening at the top is 2 3/4″ diameter. Note the beautiful blue and green hues that radiate forth from this vase with its layers of depth that give the trees an almost three dimensional appearance. Again, an excellent all original quality example of Newcomb Pottery. You will not want to miss adding this fine piece to your own personal collection.
